This summer, the GVPF’s exciting Junior Police Camp returns to St. Margarets School from August 4-7, 2026. Designed for youth ages 10 to 12, this action-packed day camp offers families a unique opportunity to give their child an unforgettable week of learning, friendship, and fun.
Over four engaging days, 30 campers will take part in hands-on activities, watch specialized policing demonstrations, build teamwork and confidence, and make lasting memories alongside new friends and volunteer police officers.
Adding to the excitement, six Junior Team Leaders – each of whom attended Police Camp 2026 over spring break – will be there to encourage campers, share their experience, and help make the week even more inspiring.
We look forward to sharing more Junior Police Camp highlights later this summer – stay tuned for updates as camp gets closer.

Here’s what one 2025 Junior Police Camp parent shared after her son completed the program:
“My son Luc had a wonderful experience at Jr. Police Camp last summer. One of the things that stood out to me as a parent was how unique the camp felt compared to others he has attended. The activities were not only fun – they were clearly designed to build confidence and encourage teamwork, which made a big impact on him. He especially loved the camp leaders and their energy. They created such a positive, supportive environment, and it was clear that they genuinely connected with the kids.
Overall, it was a very positive experience and one we would definitely recommend. Thank you to everyone who makes this camp possible!”
