Building Confidence & Opening Doors for Regional Youth
This spring has been a powerful reminder of what is possible when community, policing partners and youth come together with a shared purpose. Across every Greater Victoria Police Foundation program, the focus remains clear: building confidence, creating mentorship opportunities and opening doors for regional youth through relationships grounded in trust, leadership and service.
We are incredibly grateful to the families who registered their children for Junior Police Camp and to the broader community whose enthusiasm and support helped all 30 spots fill so quickly.
A sincere thank you goes to the regional police agencies and RCMP for their guidance, leadership and steadfast support. The Foundation’s programs are strengthened by the involvement of officers from Victoria and Esquimalt, Saanich, Central Saanich and Oak Bay, along with RCMP members and reserve officers who help deliver camp experiences and mentorship opportunities.
Their willingness to invest time, knowledge and care into regional youth is helping build powerful bridges, stronger trust and lasting relationships across our communities.

The Greater Victoria Police Foundation is proud of what has been accomplished so far, and even more energized by what lies ahead. We can’t wait to see you this November at our Building Bridges Breakfast, the ‘save the date’ will be out soon.
