Enhancing the Work of Police Agencies – Oak Bay, Saanich, Central Saanich, Esquimalt & Victoria

The Greater Victoria Police Foundation (GVPF) seeks to build healthier communities through programs, mentorship and awards aimed at building positive relationships and inspiring leadership and life skills amongst our regional youth.

About Us

The GVPF does not fund essential policing services. Rather, we provide funding to programs that build bridges between members of Greater Victoria police agencies and youth to help them fulfill their potential.

Donate to the GVPF

GVPF programs are funded entirely by donations. We’re seeking donors and funders who share similar values and are looking to support the positive development of youth leaders and citizens across our communities.

Programs

The GVPF has a suite of programs available to regional youth at no cost, including Police Camp, a Mentorship Program, a Camosun College awards program, and more.

Police Camp 2025

The GVPF’s third Police Camp was held during spring break 2025. Over 165 applicants applied and interviewed for 50 spots. Held for the first time at St. Margaret’s School, Police Camp continues to be a unique leadership program for youth in Grades 10, 11 and 12. Check out our recent video below.

Junior Police Camp 2026

The GVPF’s first Junior Police Camp was held July 2025 at St. Margaret’s School. It was an incredible week of day camp; and the feedback from campers and parents has been extremely positive! Check out our first video below.
