GVPF Awards at Camosun College

Recognizing Camosun College Students Demonstrating a Strong Commitment to Volunteerism, Leadership & Mentorship

The purpose of the Greater Victoria Police Foundation Awards at Camosun College are to recognize four Camosun College students from the Capital Region, who have demonstrated a strong commitment to volunteerism, leadership and mentorship within their community.

The awards are granted in two different program areas.

The Greater Victoria Police Foundation Award for Mental Health and Addictions

One student will be selected annually for this award, receiving $2,500. The award is available to eligible students enrolled in any program within the Mental Health and Addictions discipline at the School of Health & Human Services at Camosun.

The Greater Victoria Police Foundation Award for Criminal Justice

Three students will be selected annually for this award, each receiving $2,500. The award is available to eligible students enrolled in any program within the Criminal Justice Programs at the School of Arts & Science at Camosun.
