During Camosun College’s spring awards ceremonies, the Greater Victoria Police Foundation Award for Criminal Justice was presented to three students – Matthew Kerr, Emily Ripley and Tyson Tipper (photo above). All were recognized for demonstrated commitment to volunteerism, leadership and mentorship in the region where they live. GVPF’s fourth award for Mental Health and Addictions was presented to Trevor Kissinger (photo below).
Knowing the financial burden placed on many students who long to expand their learning opportunities, the GVPF is proud to partner with Camosun to support in our small way this exceptional training that is so important for those seeking to serve across our communities.
Be sure to subscribe to GVPF news, as an upcoming newsletter will highlight the impact of these awards.
