As we kick off 2026, I’m pleased to share an update on how your support is helping the Greater Victoria Police Foundation deepen its impact with youth across our region.
Since our Building Bridges Breakfast in the Fall, donations and pledges have continued to come in. This generosity means we can confidently fund Police Camp and Junior Police Camp in 2026 while exploring additional programming that supports building these important bridges between youth and our policing and civic communities.
Our new Executive Director, Samantha Krzywonos, joined the Foundation late last Fall and is now in her twelfth week in the role, bringing fresh energy, structure and relationship‑building to our work. In that short time, she has met with board members, visited police departments across the region and strengthened systems for fundraising administration, donor stewardship and financial reporting. These improvements help ensure every donated dollar is tracked carefully and directed where it can have the most impact.
