We are delighted to announce that we are hosting our inaugural event – Building Bridges – to raise awareness of our mission and the work we do to support students like Christie Robbins as well as the success of our Police Camps. We are excited to share details of the programs we have been running since March 2023!
This inspiring breakfast event takes place on November 20, 2024, 7:30 am – 9:00 am, at the Inn at Laurel Point.
This is not a fundraising event, but rather an opportunity to learn more about the goals of the GVPF and for us to build connections with community members who share our vision. The GVPF works with the police services of Oak Bay, Saanich, Central Saanich and Victoria, including Esquimalt and we look forward to sharing opportunities to hear directly from each service throughout the year.
For our inaugural breakfast, we will be giving our guests a unique opportunity to hear from Chief Constable Del Manak of the Victoria Police Department, followed by a Q&A session moderated by GVPF Chair, Robert Jawl. We will also feature GVPF program participants who will share their experiences and how their participation in our programs has positively impacted their lives.
We look forward to welcoming you then. Space is limited – purchase your ticket today.
